2 Years with bae x

Does that sound long to you? It's been 2 years of a hell of a ride. If I had to go back and go through all of that again, I still would.

If you've read my last post, you already know how my boyfriend and i met. It's been 2 years now since we were official. Within these 2 years, we've both definitely changed ; the way we think, the way we look at people, the way we see things, and maybe even our attitudes. Of course we fight like every other couple, but the best part is after our fights we end up loving and understanding each other more. Sometimes we're both just super stubborn and stuck with our own ways, which leads to us fighting but after that, we learn of ways to tolerate each other and try to understand how we think. Fighting with each other is only normal. I didn't know that until I heard from my friends (haha soz newbie here). Yes, we've sometimes hurt each other with the things we say but after every single time, we'd feel remorseful of our words and apologise. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's him.

Haha, I'm a girl with cray cray mood swings ( opps soz babe ), I know it's not easy to tolerate me cause I can be super sensitive one moment, and a crazy jealous bitch  the next. But no, that hasn't drove him away, he's still here telling me how pretty I am. He's a guy but that doesn't mean he doesn't get to sulk or get jealous. In fact, guys get jealous more than girls sometimes! Sometimes, even though it's not your fault, it's okay to apologise and spoil your guy. He needs to be spoiled too SOMETIMES. My boyfriend likes to make me learn how to be independent and observant of things around me cause he won't always be there to look out for me, especially when I go overseas.

Being in a (serious) relationship isn't all just about gifts and surprises, I've learn that in my first few months. I know us girls want gifts, surprises, flowers and all that but let's be realistic, guys who aren't working are spending their parents' money that's supposedly their allowances. I think it's a little unfair for guys to pay for everything when you're on a date cause that's kinda stereotypical isn't it? I mean guys, that doesn't mean you expect your girl to get the bill without asking them or not surprise them. You can always save up to spend on each other once a while. It's only fair if you spoil each other equally don't you think? A relationship is suppose to give you the motivation to work harder in life, to reach the goals you've set for the both of you and constantly supporting each other.

Being with him for 2 years now has made me angry a lot, cry a lot, get frustrated a lot, but also smile and laugh like an idiot. It's true how he can control my moods, only he can make my bad day good. Dependent a little I guess but that's just how it is. We affect each other's moods, when he's having a bad day mine becomes bad too, vice versa. I think we've taught each other a lot and have become more matured together. Even after these 2 years, I still miss him when I'm not seeing him, even though he just left a few mins ago. I still want to talk to him and see him every moment I can. And now with the slight distance, I miss him even more and more when he's away. I'll still take every opportunity to see him. If we went back in time to when I first fell for him, I'd fall again.

I don't know if we'll last forever but I'll always love you bae, my first and hopefully my last. Maybe LDR in the future is gonna be hell and shit, but maybe we'll be strong enough to keep going together many many more years to come. A rough patch is JUST a rough patch it can be overcome. I'm eternally grateful to have you and no one else. Thank you for all you've done, all the patience you've had to keep this going. Here's to more years of enormously filled blissful memories together. x

(sorry for so much of cheesiness!!)

Weekend Getaway

If you're looking for a short getaway from all the exams and work stress, PD is super near and convenient! There are quite a few comfy and relaxing resorts in Port Dickson.
My parents brought us to Lexis Hibiscus in Port Dickson for the weekends cause I won't be getting to go anywhere this year (due to exams..) and I needed to relax cause I'm stressed af. I suggested to go there cause I heard it was new and I saw photos of it on instagram. I think it was a great stress escape! The place was really relaxing and comfy. There were a lot of guests during the weekends! The receptionists were efficient with the checking in and out so all that were settled really quick, plus they serve drinks at the lobby! However, the buggy services weren't that great which caused a long line :/ BUT BUT the buggy drivers were really friendly! We got a chalet facing the sea and not the other rooms (lucky us if not it'd be a little awkward). It would have been awkward cause there was a private pool in each chalet and it's like outwards, so our unit was facing the sea which was AMAZING cause the view was gorgeous . There was also a sauna room next to the pool which was pretty nice cause it was relaxing. The pool isn't exactly a swimming pool, but it's nice to just chill in there looking at the wide sea cause the weather is just tooo craycray hot. PD isn't an open sea but where we were, the water was considered to be pretty clean! We didn't go for the water sports at the private beach next to the lobby because there wasn't much time and we just wanted to chill really.

The cafe had pretty inefficient service, the waiters were not attentive and we had to ask for things so many times. There were a lot of flies too, but that wasn't really their fault cause it was the season( i didn't know malaysia had flies season too aha ). The food was just meh, but the price wasn't too steep or anything so it was okay. I insisted on staying at the chalet to wait for the sunset cause I just love seeing the beautiful colour tones of the sky! The view was gorgeous! There was this little fountain in the middle of the water opposite our unit which was so pretty at night cause there were lights ( it was like the one at klcc ).

We drove to the town to look for dinner, we went to this place called El Cactus. We always go there for dinner when we're in PD and don't feel like having the usual seafood. The place is kinda dark but it's cozy and the service is efficient so yay for good and fast food. It might look a little dodgy but it's fine really! They serve all sorts of western food from soups and salads to steak. The address is at the bottom of the post! I didn't take any photos of the food cause we were famished and couldn't wait. After dinner, at like 10+ we drove back to the resort but stopped by the funfair first! My sister and I were so excited to go when we saw it on the way out for dinner! It's not every day you see a funfair in KL or PJ! We exchanged tokens and played a few games at the booth. We managed to win a few soft toys!! Wanted to aim for the big ones tho... ANYWAYS we were happy cause idk going to the funfair makes me happy. Then we just went back and chilled cause we got tired.

Waking up to the view of the sea is just simply breathtaking and something that I wouldn't mind waking up to everyday. Walking out of the door and getting fresh air blowing in your face is a little refreshing sometimes. We drove out to look for breakfast cause the room didn't come with breakfast and we didn't wanna pay for the not so satisfying cafe. We stopped at this row of shops selling Malay food. This lady was so enthusiastically asking us to sit so we did and we got a nasi lemak each. We wanted hot ones so she wrapped new warm ones for us. We told her it's okay to just put it on the plate but she insisted on wrapping cause she said looks would make it more appealing, idk whether did it really but the sambal was good! Who knew small shops like these would serve such good food! We went back to the hotel and chilled around in the pool for a bit before checking out. Thank god for the great weather while we were there since it's raining season now!
